ABOUT

Dr. Rodriguez is a board-certified Columbia-trained psychiatrist who graduated from Stanford with honors and distinction and from UCSF with MD and PhD degrees. He completed adult psychiatry residency at Columbia University, and he has completed trainings in couples therapy, psychedelic psychotherapy, and integrative psychiatry. He specializes in treatment for depression, anxiety, trauma, and addiction.

Dr. Rodriguez provides personalized evidence-based treatments that combine medication management and talk therapy, and his approach is warm, non-judgmental, and collaborative. He makes use of his training in medicine, science, and mindfulness practices to help you resolve your symptoms and feel more settled. SERVICES

• Individual treatment

Dr. Rodriguez is accepting individuals for psychotherapy and/or medication management. After a comprehensive 75-minute evaluation, you will craft a plan together that fits your needs. Follow-up sessions are 45 minutes, and the frequency of sessions will be discussed during the evaluation. All care is provided virtually via HIPAA-compliant video. Dr. Rodriguez is a native English- and Spanish-speaker and offers all services in either language.

• Couples treatment

Dr. Rodriguez is accepting couples for counseling. Sessions are 50 minutes once per week, typically for 9-12 weeks. All care is provided virtually via HIPAA-compliant video. Dr. Rodriguez is a native English- and Spanish-speaker and offers all services in either language.

• Residence

Patients must be either full-time New York state residents or located in New York state during treatment.

• Fees and insurance

In order to maintain a small practice with a high level of attention to each patient, Dr. Rodriguez does not participate in any commercial insurance plans. He can provide the requisite documentation for out-of-network insurance reimbursement submission. Fees are due the day of service. A good faith estimate of annual expected charges is available at your request.

• Cancellation

To change or cancel your appointment without incurring a fee, please inform Dr. Rodriguez at least 48 hours before your appointment. Please note that most insurance companies will not reimburse missed appointment fees.

• Privacy

Dr. Rodriguez uses a HIPAA-compliant video, messaging, and phone/voicemail platform to communicate with patients, and he employs confidential systems for medical record-keeping and electronic prescribing. Please limit email communication to initial contact and scheduling matters.
